A masonry heater is a large mass of masonry heated up rapidly to give off heat from the mass usually 12 to 24 hours depending on outside temperatures and how well insulated your home is. Masonry heaters are a safe and efficient way to burn wood, they burn less wood than a conventional wood stove with no creosote (if wood is burned correctly). Less smoke emissions make the masonry heater better for the environment and they do not contribute to the greenhouse effect. They even lessen the demand on foreign fossil fuels. |

Masonry heaters have no electrical parts so here in the south
where storm frequently knock out our power. Your home stays warm
and with stove and oven options you can still cook. They burn
between 45lbs and 60lbs of wood per load. Does not require constant
feeding of wood so it lessens the wood you need to cut or get.
You can pick and choose when you burn your fire usually two fires.
So you can view it, so when not at home the fire is out making
